Do you have any Internships?
The NMLC is currently discussing how to develop a clinical
experience for veterinary students with the faculty of the
Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. When there
are more animals in rehabilitation at the NMLC, internships
or other clinical experiences will become available.
After building renovation, when the NMLC is fully functioning
as a marine animal rehabilitation hospital and science/education
center, there will be internships for veterinary students
interested in marine mammal medicine and college students
looking for practical experience with systems engineering
and marine animal care. However, it will be at least the end
of 2004 before we can define the internships and accept applications.
